Launched at the 2018 G7, Investor Leadership Network (ILN) is a highly curated, CEO-led coalition of leading institutional investors representing more than US$10 trillion in assets under management across seven countries.<\/p>\n

ILN operates as a member-led platform where investors pool expertise, capital perspectives, and institutional influence to translate best practices into practical industry guidance. Working across three core areas, climate, talent and culture for the future, and public-private partnerships, the Network develops evidence-based frameworks and resources that help institutional investors navigate shared challenges and act with greater confidence.<\/p>\n

ILN’s differentiators are its strategic size, global reach, and CEO-level commitment. Through member-led advisory committees, high-level convenings, and targeted catalytic groups, the Network moves from insight to application, producing outputs that members can put to work.<\/p>\n

A central Secretariat supports coordination, continuity, and execution across workstreams, while strategic direction is set by member CEOs and the Board of Directors. ILN works closely with governments, foundations, multilateral institutions, and peer organizations, while remaining independent and investor-driven.<\/p>\n

As CEO of the Investor Leadership Network Secretariat since 2020, Amy Hepburn is a globally recognized leader in social impact and sustainable finance, charged with designing and delivering the long-term strategy of the ILN and representing the Network in collaboration with global stakeholders. ILN is a G7-launched coalition of 12 leading institutional investors across seven countries representing over $10 trillion in assets under management, focused on mobilizing private capital to build a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable global economy.<\/p>\n

Through her leadership of ILN, Amy convenes some of the world’s largest institutional investors, working across climate, talent and culture, and public-private partnerships to translate collective member practice into industry-level guidance and cross-sector action. She works directly with investor CEOs, policymakers, multilateral institutions, and philanthropic leaders to advance best practice and unlock capital at scale. She speaks regularly at global convenings including the World Economic Forum, COP, UNGA, and Milken Institute Global Conference.<\/p>\n

A recognized impact investing expert and social entrepreneur, Amy has spent more than two decades driving social change across the private, nonprofit, and public sectors through the creation of innovative public-private partnerships that deliver high-impact social and economic returns.<\/p>\n

A delegate to the inaugural G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council and appointed member of the 2025 and 2026 Councils, she is also an active member of the NationSwell Council and the Global Women’s Forum on Economy and Society. She serves on multiple boards including the University of Denver Korbel School of International Affairs and the Middle East Children’s Initiative, and holds faculty appointments at Duke University and George Washington University where she teaches on social impact, gender equality, the care of children in crises, human rights, and humanitarian action.<\/p>\n
