{"id":1837,"date":"2022-02-18T09:00:38","date_gmt":"2022-02-18T14:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/investorleadershipnetwork.org\/?p=1837"},"modified":"2022-03-10T10:12:41","modified_gmt":"2022-03-10T15:12:41","slug":"standard-setters-return-to-iln-roundtable-to-review-inclusion-playbook","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/investorleadershipnetwork.org\/en\/standard-setters-return-to-iln-roundtable-to-review-inclusion-playbook\/","title":{"rendered":"Standard Setters Return to ILN Roundtable to Review Inclusion Playbook"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>February 18, 2022\u2013 The Investor Leadership Network (ILN) hosted its second Standard Setter Inclusion Roundtable today to gain feedback on the Network&#8217;s upcoming Inclusion Playbook.<\/p>\n<p>ILN members and ILN partner <a href=\"https:\/\/diversio.com\/\">Diversio<\/a> invited leading standard setters to provide feedback on a draft of ILN\u2019s Inclusion Playbook, which will launch at a virtual <a href=\"https:\/\/diversio.com\/2022-inclusion-summit-closing-the-diversity-gap\/\">Inclusion Summit<\/a> on March 24, 2022. Complete with inclusion metrics and investor case studies on how to integrate the guidance, the Playbook will help investors evaluate companies\u2019 inclusivity and engage with those that need to improve their practices.<\/p>\n<p>Roundtable participants expressed their approval and support of the Playbook, agreeing that the resource will help investors and companies better mitigate risks, as well as unlock greater returns from their diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. ILN confirmed that the Inclusion Playbook&#8217;s metrics will help investors better understand the essential link between diversity metrics and inclusion metrics. Multiple attendees expressed their desire to help standardize the Playbook&#8217;s metrics and guidance as more formalized, international standards emerge.<\/p>\n<p>Roundtable participants included senior leaders from Values Reporting Foundation, Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA), Responsible Investment Association (RIA), OECD&#8217;s Business for Inclusive Growth (B4IG), Standards Board for Alternative Investments (SBAI), World Economic Forum International Business Council (WEF IBC) , World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA), and 2X Collaborative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo hear from these standard setters that ILN&#8217;s Inclusion Playbook is valuable, actionable, and ready to be put into play is an amazing validation,&#8221; said Helen Beck, co-chair of ILN&#8217;s CIO Roundtable and Executive Vice-President and Head of Equity Markets at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdpq.com\/en\">CDPQ<\/a>. &#8220;We hope that this Playbook will help drive diversity, equity and inclusion outputs faster across the industry.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Learn more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/investorleadershipnetwork.org\/en\/diversity-in-investment\/\">Inclusive Finance Initiative<\/a>.<\/p>\n<span class=\"et_bloom_bottom_trigger\"><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 18, 2022\u2013 The Investor Leadership Network (ILN) hosted its second Standard Setter Inclusion Roundtable today to gain feedback on the Network&#8217;s upcoming Inclusion Playbook.
