On January 15, the Climate Change Advisory Committee met in Toronto for a full day of work on our climate disclosure guide for asset owners. The group was hosted by OMERS.
This meeting is a further step towards the completion of our practical guidance, by and for long-term investors, aimed at facilitating the adoption of uniform and comparable climate-related disclosures under the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (FSB-TCFD) framework. This advisory committee’s work is being facilitated by PwC and a first version of the guidance is expected in spring 2019.
