About Amanda Holmes

Head of Talent & Leadership, and People & Culture Business Partner, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan

Amanda Holmes is Head of Talent & Leadership, and People & Culture Business Partner at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. She has held senior talent leadership roles at Ontario Teachers’ since 2017 including Head of Talent Acquisition, DEI Lead and Head of Talent. Her current portfolio includes global talent acquisition, diversity, equity and inclusion as well as talent management, succession, leadership development, learning programs and related technology.

Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’, Amanda held senior global talent roles in the hospitality sector, including Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition at Accor, and Director and Manager of Talent Management roles at FRHI Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, supporting talent initiatives across multiple international brands and regions.

Amanda holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing from Wilfrid Laurier University, an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo and has completed executive education programs at Cornell University. She holds her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation and is a Certified Coach.
