BOSTON and PARIS | June 21, 2022–– The Investor Leadership Network (ILN) convened its Climate Change Advisory Committee today for a working meeting to share and compare how asset managers and asset owners are navigating investing for the transition to a low carbon economy.
Members of the ILN Climate Change Advisory Committee met in person at Natixis Investment Managers’ offices in Boston and Paris for a full-day workshop on transition investing. ILN members presented their respective organizations’ current practices in setting and delivering interim targets, assessing the credibility of transition plans, and identifying positive transition investment opportunities. Members also received a presentation from an academic keynote speaker on a methodology to measure, manage and benchmark portfolio companies’ transition plans. ILN’s current climate change resource partners at Baringa facilitated the sessions.
The best practices shared today will be turned into a new resource for investors, which will launch on July 31, 2023. Discover ILN’s previous climate change resources on TCFD integration, climate change mitigation, physical risk assessment, and net zero transition frameworks and tools here.
