TORONTO | August 30, 2022–– The Investor Leadership Network (ILN) is pleased to welcome Nick Autiello to the ILN Secretariat as its new Director of Impact.
In this role, Nick will work across the ILN and with key partners in the private, public and philanthropic sectors to its initiatives to mobilize private capital in support of an inclusive and sustainable transition to a green economy, especially in emerging markets.
Nick was previously Head of Sustainable Finance at the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), launched by His Majesty King Charles III, where he led the work of SMI’s financial Task Forces and served as interim co-Chief Operating Officer earlier this year.
Nick joins the ILN as a seccondee from State Street, where he was Vice President, ESG Strategy prior to joining the SMI. Before joining State Street, Nick served as a Special Advisor to former Rhode Island Governor and current United States Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo. Additionally he serves on the boards of Teach for Italy and the LGBTQ Victory Fund, and served as a foreign policy and economic policy advisor to Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 presidential campaign.
Nick holds a master’s degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science and received his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University.
